Perfectly suited for world wide conditions
Unlike traditional systems, the HatchTraveller will function perfectly, independent from the outside climate. No matter if its cold or hot, day or night, summer or winter, the temperature in the truck will always be 100 % controlled. For cooling, the HatchTraveller does not depend on the outside air, ascooling is executed fully via the perforated radiators. These radiators are linked to chillers. As no cooling is required from outside air, the system will only open its air inlet when O² is required. As only minimum outside air comes into the system, this air does not interfere with the ambient temperature in the box.

• Suited for moderate and extreme climate conditions: -30 ºC to + 55 ºC;
• Suited for both plastic as well as cardboard crates. HatchTech baskets are recommended for their excellent air flow passage;
• HatchTravellers can be connected to the electricity net: this makes them suitable as chick storage rooms at hatcheries or for ferry transport.

Excellent truck body and floor
The HatchTraveller is supplied as an independent box. The floor of the box does not contain any difficult to clean ventilation channels. The floor is plain but profiled, for easy cleaning and maximum grip. Doors and panels are constructed with first class insulated panels, for maximum strength.

• Self-supporting insulated floor 115 mm: suitable for installation on any kind of truck chassis;
• Insulated wall panels: 67 mm. Panels are smooth and easy to clean;
• Insulated rear doors: 65 mm, equipped with stainless steel rear portal;
• Equipped with stairs and illumination according to CE regulations.

Fully automated system
The HatchTraveller functions completely independently from the truck. The cooling system is backed up by a generator set. Unlike traditional systems, the HatchTraveller will not depend on external air for cooling. This means that also when the truck is not moving or not moving fast (when driving up hill, when the driver takes a break, when the transport is stuck in traffic, etc) the system will function perfectly: the generator and cooling system will continue functioning as normal.

• Full colour touch screen controller in the drivers cabin;
• Continuous control and registration of:
  • - Air temperatures
  • - CO₂ levels
  • - Humidity levels;
• Contains back-up facilities (both chiller as well as generator set) and manual control in case of emergencies.
