The quality of the air in the truck; temperature, relative
humidity and CO
2 level is controlled via the patented
concept of HatchTech:
- The HatchTraveller is equipped with perforated patented
radiators;
- The air passes through the radiator and issues its heat to
the cooling medium within the radiator (glycol or water);
- The chicks in HatchBrood are divided over several
sections, in which temperature sensors provide
information on actual air temperature;
- Based on information from temperature sensors, the
temperature of the cooling medium in the radiators is
continuously modulated, resulting in perfect air
temperatures.
- Each radiator is linked to a chiller system. As cooling is
executed 100 % via chillers, the HatchTraveller does not
depend on the outside conditions;
- Outside air is only used for oxygen supply. A CO2 sensor
is responsible for controlling the air inlet.
As the temperature is controlled in all the sections and the
air is moving in perfect velocity, HatchTraveller ensures
optimum and uniform chick body temperatures of 104°F.
The chicken will use its available nutrients (yolk and feed)
for growth and development and will start off well.
